One of the key factors to becoming and maintaining the status of “A Resolute Man” is participation within our community.
Brothers regularly work together as a chapter to raise money for charitable causes and organizations — such as the USO and Wounded Warrior Project — through their own ingenuity and passion.
Below are some examples of past events that the Alpha Delta chapter has organized and participated in, showcasing this service to our community.
One of the best causes around is Habitat For Humanity. Their goal is to provide housing ownership for deserving families.
Theta Chi has participated in the event for years, providing construction labor and a positive attitude for our community.
Similar to traditional pie-in-face fundraisers, the brothers of Theta Chi took to Memorial Mall with a bucket of water balloons and volunteers to raise money for charity. Participants were able to purchase these water balloons for $1 a piece, and then allowed to toss them at a brother of their choosing.
The event was a great success, with hundreds of participants which resulted in an impressive $500+ raised.
This year, brothers from Alpha Delta placed second in a Theta Chi National Founders’ Day Challenge.
